In alignment with our goal of inclusivity and mutual respect, we ask that overt expressions of any religion—open prayer, symbols such as crucifixes or altars, and so on—be instead exercised in whatever personally-reserved space(s) provided to you for your stay, and clothing/jewelry depicting it be removed or changed (if possible) outside of the aforementioned space(s). Typically, this means the guest bedroom and the central bathroom.

Clothing/jewelry required by religions (hijabs, yarmulkes, maang tika, etc.) - Generally speaking, these are permitted to be worn at all times on/in our property. Still, we reserve the right to ask you to remove or change it at any time (you will of course be provided private space(s) to remove or change it). We will never ask you to remove clothing/jewelry to the point you are publicly indecent, even in private.

If behind closed doors in private, whether alone or with others who have the same beliefs/ideologies you do, you are welcome to quietly exercise your religion so long as no humans or animals are hurt. Otherwise, we ask you be respectful of others (including us, Suzy and Elena) as others will almost always have different beliefs from yours, whether large or small. Suzy and Elena typically keep their beliefs private and may choose to voice them anytime.
